🎤 ABOUT THE ARTIST

Carrying on a 25 year tradition, the Harwood Assembly Band sets the gold standard for the modern high school band. Featuring members from the All State Modern Band, The Glam Cowboys, and MINC this band represents the best youth performers in the Mad River Valley. The band has shared the stage with artists such as Russ Lawton and Ray Paczkowski of TAB. Showcasing amazing lead and background vocals combined with tight horns and a smokin’ rhythm section, the band performs a wide range of music from the Tedeschi Trucks Band to modern funk-pop groups like Lawerence and Couch. This band hosts Sonic Futers, the biggest high school battle of the bands in the state, including bands from many schools around the state. The band also sponsors the youth music showcase at Higher Ground in the spring.

The Harwood Assembly band inspires aspiring performers, giving upcoming high school musicians something to look forward to. Band members have gone on to become music students at well-known universities, solo recording artists in Los Angeles, and prominent members of well-known bands.
