Formed in Northern Vermont in the summer of ’24, The Sara Whitehair Band (SWB) has quickly become known for their funky classics, deep-pocket grooves, and a fresh breath of soul in every set.

Frontwoman Sara Whitehair, who hand-picked the SWB lineup, leads with powerful vocals and her signature soulful sax style. The band’s tight rhythm section—Chris Lynch (guitar), Dan Swain (bass), Perry Heller (drums), and Chris Zebal (keys)—lays down an irresistible foundation that keeps crowds moving.

SWB’s newest member, Zaq Meyer (Long Beach Dob Allstars; Double U) brings a powerful new dimension on trumpet. A talented multi-instrumentalist with a dynamic tone, Zaq adds vibrant horn energy that elevates the band’s sound to a whole new level.
